Prof. Mordechai Gutman is a distinguished surgeon and he is an expert in oncology, especially gastrointestinal cancer, breast cancer, skin cancer and sarcoma. He has a special interest in the treatment of peritoneal cancer, a world leader in this field. Prof. Gutman completed the program of residency in general surgery at the Tel Aviv Medical Center - Sourasky. He was the head of the local chemotherapy unit and deputy head of surgery department. He also served as the head of the surgery department at Meir Medical Center for seven years. He heads the surgical steering committee of Maccabi Health Services and he is the president of Israeli Surgery Society since 2013.
