Professor Klausner graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University with a master's degree in medicine and continued post-graduate studies in medicine at Harvard University-USA. Prof. Klausner has received training in several hospitals in Israel and abroad, and has held several managerial positions. Currently, he is the head of the surgery department at the Tel Aviv Medical Center
