Professor Petachia Reissman is a leading surgeon,
and he is an expert in laparoscopic, gallbladder, adrenal gland and
gastrointestinal surgery, tumors, inflammatory bowel disease and advanced
laparoscopic surgery. Prof. Reissman is a physician with extensive experience
and he has held several positions during his career, including the director of
underwater medicine at the Institute of Marine Medicine - Haifa, the head of
the general surgery specialists at the Hadassah Medical Center - Jerusalem,
and the head
of hospitalization unit in the same hospital. Professor Reissman also
participated in research and clinical fellowships in colorectal surgery department
at Florida Hospital in America. He is a member of many local and international
associations and has received numerous local and international awards in his
field. Professor Reissman is currently the head of general surgery department
at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem
