Biography

Prof. Moni Dr. Moni Benifla is an experienced neurologist with over 21 years of clinical experience. He received his degree in medicine from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and received his doctorate in medicine from the same university. He trained in neurosurgery at Soroka Medical Center in Beirsheva, then successfully completed and graduated from the residency program. He also trained in pediatric neurosurgery at the Children's Hospital in Toronto, Canada. Prof. Benifla worked in several distinguished hospitals in his career, until he assumed responsibility for the Pediatric Neurosurgery Unit at the Department of Neurosurgery at Rambam Hospital in Haifa, where he performs and supervises the operations of epilepsy in children.
