Dr. Hadas Mechoulam is a leading ophthalmologist and retina specialist at the Pediatric Ophthalmology Center at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. She obtained her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the Hebrew University, and then specialized in ophthalmology at Hadassah Medical Center. Dr. Mechoulam continued to obtain the sub specialization in ophthalmology for children at Sachi Eye Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and then in retinal surgery at Hadassah. Dr. Mechoulam is a consultant at Cell Cure NeuroSciences Ltd. She has received many research grants, also she is interested in pediatric retinal diseases, and she is studing the impact of cannabis on the eye.
