Dr. Ronit Elhasid is a brilliant oncologist and an expert in bone marrow transplantation and transplantation of stem cells after collection from the umbilical cord and placenta. The doctor received a medical degree from the Technion university- Haifa. She has held several administrative positions in several hospitals during her medical career. She has been in charge of the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit and Deputy Director of Pediatric Hematology unit. Currently, she is Director of Pediatric Oncology at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center. Dr. Elhasid is a member of several local and international societies dealing with blood diseases and has received several awards in this field.
