Prof. Gabriel Zeilig is
the Director of Neuro-Rehabilitation and the National Unit for the
Rehabilitation of Spinal Cord Injury at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Aviv.
Professor Zeilig received his master's degree in medicine from the University
of Milan, Italy. He received his specialization in natural medicine and
rehabilitation from Tel Aviv University and continued his training for the
Critical Neurosurgery Fellowship and Fellowship for Neural Rehabilitation at
the University of Maryland Medical Center-USA.
His main areas of clinical interest include the
rehabilitation of people with neurological conditions such as spinal cord
injuries, stroke, painful brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, and so forth. He
is also interested in using and developing new techniques to enhance the
flexibility of the central nervous system.
